1. Inspect the Volume of your Device

2. Use Volume Mixer to Increase Volume

Volume Mixer is a tool that shows the volume level for each app installed on your computer. Using the volume mixer, you need to check if the audio is muted for your web browser. To open the Volume mixer,

Right-click on the sound icon in the system tray and then click on ‘Open Volume Mixer’

On the next screen, you will see the volume levels for each app and you need to look for your browser in this list. You may not see the volume level for your browser separately depending on your device.

When you see the browser, drag the volume slider upwards to increase the volume and that’s it.

3. Check if the Video is Muted

Another reason that can make you face no sound from YouTube on Google Chrome is you have mistakenly muted the video itself. Also, if you have muted the video once, all the videos that you will further play will also remain on mute until you unmute it manually. To turn off the mute option from the YouTube videos:

4. Update the Audio Drivers

6. Try Another Browser
